Never build your own paramotor/paraglider helmet or headset, or assemble one from mix and match parts from hardware, and general goods stores. Cheap helmets, accessories and low cost headsets(ear defenders) are often not safety, and lab tested, not approved for our sport, and do not meet the rigorous EN966 Certification altogether in many ways. Such are NOT to be used for paragliding or paramotoring purposes. Modified bicycle, skateboard, snowboard(ski), motorcycle, military, BMX stunt and similar helmets or seemingly cool looking "multifunctional" headsets often do not meet the safety criteria for our sport. They tend to fail in a variety of scenarios or do more harm than actually good when it matters! BE SMART and GET a REAL HELMET!!! Because it all starts in the head...!
